Razak Khan

Razak (or Razzak Khan) (1953/1954 – 1 June 2016) was a film actor appearing in Hindi films. Khan was noted for supporting and comic roles. He was known for his comic role of Manikchand in the 1999 Abbas-Mustan directed film Baadshah, as Ninja Chacha in the 1999 film Hello Brother and as Takkar Pehelwan in Akhiyon Se Goli Maare.

Acting career

Razak Khan began his onscreen journey with a small role in the famous television show, Nukkad (1986–87), and made his Hindi Films debut with Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja (1993). He acted in more than 90 films during his 23-year-long career.He was last seen in Kyaa Cool Hain Hum 3 (2016). His other noteworthy performances were in Raja Hindustani(1996), Hello Brother (1999), Hera Pheri (2000), Partner (2007) and Action Jackson(2014). The characters played by him generally had a very hilarious names like Babu Bisleri, Ninja Chacha etc.

He has a son named Azad Khan, who currently works in Croatia. His parents were originally from Afghanistan who then settled in India. His funeral will happen in Mumbai on 02-Jun-2016.

Death

Razak Khan died on Wednesday afternoon 1 June 2016 following a cardiac arrest. The actor was rushed to the Holy Family Hospital in Bandra, but the doctors declared him dead on arrival.
